Basic Assumptions Required to Apply the MBS Model
 
Every executive in your organization who is responsible for basic resources (human talent, time and money) is a manager and must be a leader. He or she must have a thorough knowledge of management; if not, you have a serious problem on your hands.
 
Management must swap an antiquated and subjective case-by-case approach for a discipline based on the application of techniques instituted, developed and tested to manage an organization’s basic resources.
 
Most of the problems facing virtually every known organization are created by a seriousmalfunction in management, or by management that is generally inadequate. 
 
Modern managers must abandon the practice of having only vassals at their command. Today, it is crucial to enhance every employee’s competence and to broaden their know-how and, of course, their participation in solving problems.
 
In the 21st century, the biggest mistake a manager can make is to deny colleagues or co-workers access to the information, science and technology they need to do their job.

Better management should be the primary objective of organizations in the 21st century.   Without a substantial improvement in the organizations that govern us, this probably will be the last century of our cosmic uniqueness. Political organizations create basic and essential management systems. However, the efficiency and effectiveness of a genuine political organization in its most pristine sense is impossible to achive without highly rational management.
